thats why its so amazing, especially for me, I've been writing since summer and I only got 118 pages done, nevermind that the best parts are still unwritten.
"only" 118 pages xD that's a true accomplishment, you know! Longest I've ever done is like thirty pages (and handwritten even); after so long I always tend to forget what it was that I wanted to say with the story to begin with and thus lose interest. Well, I guess it might be good if the best parts are still to come! That'll definitely keep your interest afloat, although it could also mean you want to perfect it beyond the point that you don't feel you're able to write it (I've had that feeling at times). With this novel-writing project I'm in, I don't take the parts in the order I'd like to, I just do it chronologically or else it would be a total mess =) =D
lol, thanks Becca, but I know I need to get writing again soon and for the time I've been writing 118 pages just isn't enough. I need to get cracking like an egg rolling down a rocky clif as its yellow blood smears a sticky trail behind its unwavering shell.
Haha, nice metaphor =) I get what you're saying about getting started again with your writing, sometimes we just get stuck in it, and sit there staring at it, unable to do anything with it, and it's total crap when it happens. But most of the time, all you need is to bounce your thoughts and ideas with someone, and it pulls your writing right back on track again. You did it for me and I hope I've done it for you too :D Don't let go now, 118 pages is a HELL lot more than you had when you started, right? I mean think of when you had only written a single page! Picture that page in your head and tell yourself, well, i've actually written that times 118, and I think it'll shed some new light on the whole business. :)
