Sunday

One more night of hours
that I don't want to spend sleeping
One more archway of flowers
that are going to wither
One more time I lose my power
ticking for tomorrow
Inevitably
I'll crawl up here for protection
Weave myself a present time of wishes
in the rain drops
And you pour down my window
Down my glass
You'll take me any day
I'll leave my wishes behind
And enter your reality
enter regularity
After one more night of hours
without you

  1. Awwww, this is so beautiful. <3 It just made me smile out of nowhere. ^^ I'm not even sure if it's smilable, it sounds a bit sad really. xD But I don't know, sounds optimistic to me. :D Anyway.. :P I love it. =)

  2. It's... uhmm... you could say it's optimistic I guess, since it's all about encapsulating the moment, the present time, the second you are in precisely now... but I wrote it out of depression for starters, knowing that all my present days will always end with the regularity of real life, soon as Sunday passes, freedom passes... and you're back on square one on Monday morning.

    But what the heck.
Let's preserve our long Sunday hours anyway. :)

  7. Lack of time will always burden us. But in my eyes we make our own time, as well as we can. Don't you worry amin, I'm just so happy to have you back :)

    Thank you!
Well I entitled it "Sunday" because when you work 8-5 job like I do you have the weekends as your haven, your safe port, your freedom. The long night of ticking hours until it all starts over again on Monday made me write this little thing. (As you can see I wrote it on a Sunday.) :)
