Haha yeah! She did inspire me a bit to make a shorter poem :) I used to write a lot of those in the old days, but kind of slipped into longer pieces as time went... I'd forgotten how fun it can be and how a nice effect a short poem can be. Straight to the point was never easier :P

My Poetic Intentions

My world is like a glass jar that isolates me from the rest of the world, and the glass is the cover that life has placed on my eyes. Inside it I am the poet who hasn't decided whether the lid should be opened or closed - if reality should be welcomed inside, or if madness should be let out.

I'm Poet in the Jar. I've had this blog going since 2007 and use it to post and store poetry, lyrics and random, spontaneous thoughts on life and everything that comes along with it.
