can´t understand a single word :D and I´ve been studying swedish for two years (almost) now ^^ and don´t say that isn´t swedish :) my swedish teacher wouldn´t be proud of me.. :P
Wow! You don't know a single word? I thought you'd at least recognize like the word "jag" ;) Well for you and for everyone else here unable to read it here follows a rough translation...
"Like the necklace I keep fingering for that I have lost you have slipped away from me you have disappeared
but the chain's still there"
Sometimes, when I'm really overpowered by an emotion or a thought, it comes out in Swedish. It rarely ever happens. In fact this is the first ever post in Swedish for all the two years I've posted here. It just has a lot more pain in Swedish... it feels so much closer. It's weird. I haven't written in that language for ages and ages.
well I knew word "jag" but I didn´t count that ;) for me the most natural way of writing is write in Finnish, my native language. I think in finnish so for me is self-evident that I write in finnish and then translate them here. so I can totally understand you. sometimes there´s no words to translate poem to english or whatever language. PS. I have 10 in Swedish, and that´s the best testimonial you can get in Finland ;)
I normally don't :D :D It has only happened a very few times in my life where emotions have just barged me over and I spill something out in my native tongue. Writing in Swedish hurts a lot more because it feels closer and more real.. like I already wrote i see xD
Haha yeah it's the first post in Swedish on this site, will probably be the last. Before that I wrote tons of poems in Swedish. :D :D
And Rocco, with a 10? It's not a particularly difficult poem xD
hmm i cant wirte in farsi much either, it doesnt really feel closer, its just harder, for a farsi poem to be good you really have to put everything to it, i dont know if you get me...
I know just what you mean. It is easier to express something in English and make it sound good. I think that's because your native tongue has been with you all your life and it's so easy to tell if it sounds bad or not xD
