Stranger In My Shell

Do I know you?
Or how can you tell?
I never say anything
that matters
of myself
Sorry?
Have I met you?
You couldn't know that
cause it matters
and I wouldn't tell
So stick to the small talk,
you stranger
in my shell

  2. Wow, what words you choose =) this one's about being afraid to let someone in, afraid to let them come too close. You love someone so much that you feel vulnerable and in a way want to try and regain some of the toughness you had to use to cope while you were by yourself. :)

  3. wow! You truly have a set idea in mind when you write, I usually just treanslate hidden feelings into words, to create a poem that truly means little in my heart but you know exactly how to describe and portray your feeling. Bravo

  4. Yeah, I liked it too! But the way you describe feelings is really something else. I just love it! =)

  5. Well that's what I do too :) It's not like I sit myself down and go thinking, "I'm gonna write a poem about vulnerability"... :D I just catch the words floating about around me and put them down on paper. And once they are written down, I can tell what they are about. Like solving a puzzle. Make any sense? :D Thanks for your words=)

  6. makes a whole lot of sense, in an incredibly profound way. You're the kind of person who if you get to be a famous writer you're quotes about the nature of writing will be found all over google on facebook and myspace pages everywhere.
