Full To The Brim

We don't know better, do we? Why should we bother trying to see things through other people's eyes? Or embrace the realization that everyone's just as full to the brim of feelings as you are, and that the better part of the world will never know who you are.
They'll never care if you get up in the morning, or what you feel, or what you take your time to make a blog post about.
But why embrace that? No, that'd make things too grey, wouldn't it? Make things so meaningless. So insignificant. Make it too hard to keep going.
Get up, eat, go to school, eat, go to bed...
We'll just bury the thought, dig deeper into our conscious selves and stuff it in there, trying to look in a million other directions...
Looking out of our own eyes is all we know about.
We don't know better.
Do we?

  1. If you look at it that way, of course life can be too unbearable to live. Forget about the world, forget about who thinks what; just concentrate on the ones that already know you and care about you, isn't that the most important thing anyway? :) I myself don't care about the rest. =P

  2. I know. But that's what bugs me. If everyone didn't walse around in their own lives, maybe we could actually do something about the bad stuff in the world... but none of us do, it's easier to just close our eyes and pretend it doesn't exist. I can hardly bare the thought even if I know that focus should be on your own life if you wanna stay happy. =)

  3. But who says current happiness will allow happiness in the future?

  4. Yeah. If we close our eyes to the mess we're making now we're basically making sure we won't be happy in the future :P I don't know if this what was you meant though. =)
